The Cubs follow a similar script. They score 5.1 and give up 5.3. When you put two top five offenses against two struggling starters, the over is the only play. The head to head matchups this year show the Cubs have a slight edge but the real story is the lack of pitching depth. Trust the model and take the over.

They have struggled to produce runs consistently. New York has already beaten Philadelphia twice this season with an average margin of 1.5 runs. The Yankees are the more balanced team right now. Taking the runs with a team that has already proven they can beat this opponent is the smart move.
