The Carolina Hurricanes are -105 to win the Metropolitan Division, per DraftKings' futures in ESPN's odds feed read on Oct. 11, the only odds-on price on the NHL division odds board. Tampa Bay (+205) leads the Atlantic, Colorado (+155) leads the Central and Edmonton (+125) leads the Pacific. Teams have played four to six games, and several of the early standings leaders are priced well behind the favorites.

NHL Division Odds 2026-27: The Full Board

All prices below are DraftKings, per ESPN's NHL futures feed on Oct. 11. Records and points are from NHL.com's standings as of Oct. 11 (wins, losses, overtime losses).

Implied probability is 100 divided by (odds plus 100) for plus prices. For a minus price like -105, it is 105 divided by 205, or about 51.2%. Every division market here adds up to between 112.7% and 113.3% implied, so the book's margin runs around 13 points on each one.

Metropolitan Division: Carolina Is the Clear Favorite

| Team | Record | Points | DraftKings via ESPN, Oct. 11 | |-|-|-|-| | Carolina Hurricanes | 4-1-1 | 9 | -105 | | Washington Capitals | 3-1-0 | 6 | +255 | | New Jersey Devils | 2-2-0 | 4 | +750 | | New York Rangers | 4-2-0 | 8 | +1500 | | Pittsburgh Penguins | 3-2-1 | 7 | +1800 | | Columbus Blue Jackets | 2-2-0 | 4 | +1800 | | Philadelphia Flyers | 0-4-2 | 2 | +3000 | | New York Islanders | 2-3-0 | 4 | +5000 |

Carolina won the Metropolitan last season with 113 points, per NHL.com's final 2025-26 standings, 15 clear of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia at 98. They sit first again now, and -105 implies about 51.2%. Washington at +255 (about 28.2%) is the only other team priced shorter than +750.

The Rangers are the price that most disagrees with the table: second in the Metro with 8 points, but fourth on the board at +1500. Philadelphia, 98 points last season, is winless in six games.

Atlantic Division: A Two-Team Market

| Team | Record | Points | DraftKings via ESPN, Oct. 11 | |-|-|-|-| | Tampa Bay Lightning | 4-1-0 | 8 | +205 | | Florida Panthers | 2-1-2 | 6 | +215 | | Montreal Canadiens | 2-2-1 | 5 | +650 | | Ottawa Senators | 4-1-0 | 8 | +700 | | Toronto Maple Leafs | 3-2-1 | 7 | +900 | | Buffalo Sabres | 2-3-0 | 4 | +1200 | | Boston Bruins | 4-2-0 | 8 | +2200 | | Detroit Red Wings | 1-3-1 | 3 | +13000 |

Tampa Bay (about 32.8%) and Florida (about 31.7%) are separated by 10 cents. The Lightning share the Atlantic points lead with Ottawa and Boston at 8, while Florida is fifth with 6.

One of the biggest gaps between last season and this board is Buffalo. The Sabres won the Atlantic in 2025-26 with 109 points, per NHL.com, three clear of Tampa Bay and Montreal at 106. The Sabres are now sixth on the board at +1200 after a 2-3-0 start. Boston finished fourth last season with 100 points and is +2200 despite sharing the Atlantic points lead today.

Central Division: Colorado Leads, Utah Leads the Table

| Team | Record | Points | DraftKings via ESPN, Oct. 11 | |-|-|-|-| | Colorado Avalanche | 3-2-0 | 6 | +155 | | Minnesota Wild | 3-1-1 | 7 | +285 | | Dallas Stars | 2-2-1 | 5 | +350 | | Utah Mammoth | 4-2-0 | 8 | +500 | | Winnipeg Jets | 3-1-1 | 7 | +2800 | | St. Louis Blues | 2-2-1 | 5 | +4000 | | Nashville Predators | 2-1-2 | 6 | +4000 | | Chicago Blackhawks | 1-5-0 | 2 | +30000 |

Colorado finished 2025-26 with 121 points, the most in the league per NHL.com's final standings, and won the Central by nine over Dallas (112). At +155 (about 39.2%), the Avalanche are priced well ahead of the field even though they are fourth in the division today. Their plus-9 goal differential is tied for the best in the NHL with Vegas.

Utah leads the Central with 8 points and is +500 (about 16.7%). Winnipeg is the outlier: tied for second with Minnesota at 7 points, but priced at +2800, far behind the four teams above it.

Pacific Division: Edmonton and Vegas, Then Daylight

| Team | Record | Points | DraftKings via ESPN, Oct. 11 | |-|-|-|-| | Edmonton Oilers | 4-0-1 | 9 | +125 | | Vegas Golden Knights | 5-1-0 | 10 | +170 | | Anaheim Ducks | 4-1-0 | 8 | +700 | | Los Angeles Kings | 0-2-2 | 2 | +1000 | | San Jose Sharks | 3-2-0 | 6 | +1100 | | Seattle Kraken | 3-2-0 | 6 | +8000 | | Calgary Flames | 0-5-0 | 0 | +30000 | | Vancouver Canucks | 2-4-0 | 4 | +30000 |

Vegas won the Pacific last season with 95 points, two ahead of Edmonton (93) and three ahead of Anaheim (92), per NHL.com. Today's board flips the top two: Edmonton is +125 (about 44.4%) and Vegas is +170 (about 37.0%), even though the Golden Knights lead the division with 10 points.

Anaheim, third in the Pacific last season and again today, is +700. Calgary has lost all five of its games, and Los Angeles is winless in four (0-2-2).

Betting Angles: Where the NHL Division Odds Look Off

1. Vegas at +170. The Golden Knights won the division last season and lead it now, and the price still sits behind Edmonton. At +170 you need better than 37.0% to justify the bet. 2. Rangers at +1500. The board prices New York at about 6.3% while the Rangers sit second in the Metro. 3. Winnipeg at +2800. About 3.4% implied for a team tied for second in the Central. It is a five-game sample, so size it like a long shot. 4. Carolina at -105. The Hurricanes are the defending division champion with the league's second-best point total last season (113). Laying juice on a futures market ties up money for the whole regular season, which is the real cost here.

The Presidents' Trophy market, also DraftKings via ESPN on Oct. 11, is topped by Carolina +450, Colorado +500, Edmonton +600, Florida +650 and Vegas +700. What to Watch Next

Watch how the NHL division odds react if Florida stays behind Tampa Bay in the Atlantic standings, since the Panthers and Lightning are already priced almost level. The same goes for Vegas: if the Golden Knights keep their Pacific lead, the gap to Edmonton is a number to watch.

Conference markets are the next layer. DraftKings, per ESPN on Oct. 11, has Carolina +350 and Florida +400 in the East, and Colorado +350 and Edmonton +425 in the West. In the Stanley Cup market, Carolina is +600, with Colorado and Florida at +700. You can follow the live table on NHL.com's standings page.
