Serie A Standings 2026-27: Two Clubs on 16 Points

Inter and Lazio are the only clubs in Serie A with 16 points, and both got there with five wins, a draw and no losses. The Serie A standings 2026-27 per ESPN (pulled October 16) have Inter ahead on goal difference, +10 to Lazio's +7. Roma are third on 14 points, and Cagliari and Frosinone share 13.

One caveat before the table. Most clubs have played six matches, but Frosinone and Sassuolo have played seven, so their point totals are not directly comparable to the clubs around them. This is a snapshot from ESPN as of October 16.

The full table (matches played, record, points, goal difference)

The Top of the Table: Four Unbeaten Clubs

Four clubs have not lost in Serie A yet: Inter, Lazio, Roma and AC Milan. That group is the story of the early season. Inter and Lazio have turned five wins into 16 points. Roma have won fewer matches (four) but drawn twice, which keeps them two points back with the best goal difference in the league at +11.

Milan are the odd one out in the unbeaten group. Three wins and three draws is 12 points, good for sixth, and they sit behind Cagliari and Frosinone on 13, who have lost one and two matches respectively (Frosinone have played seven). Their +6 goal difference is solid rather than dominant.

Juventus and Como are level on 11 points with identical 3W 2D 1L records, split by one goal of goal difference (+4 to +3). Napoli sit ninth on 10 points. Their +4 goal difference matches Juventus, who have 11 points.

Mid-Table Squeeze and a Crowded Bottom

Below Atalanta, the table gets compressed in a hurry. Atalanta are on 9 points with a goal difference of exactly zero and three losses, the only club in the top ten with a record that bad. Torino (7 points), Lecce (6) and Bologna (5) sit above the five clubs on 4.

The bottom is the more interesting betting-adjacent picture. Five clubs are tied on 4 points: Udinese, Monza, Genoa, Parma and Fiorentina, all at 1W 1D 4L. The only separator is goal difference, from -4 for Udinese down to -7 for Fiorentina. Venezia are alone beneath them on zero points after six straight defeats, with a -11 goal difference, the worst in the division.

Five clubs are tied on 4 points, so goal difference is the only separator. Torino are 12th on 7 points, three points clear of that group.

What the Table Means for Bettors

I could not verify a dated Serie A title, top-four or relegation futures price today, so I am not going to quote one. A six-round table is also a thin sample. Inter and Lazio have identical points, but Lazio's +7 goal difference trails Roma's +11 and Inter's +10, so Lazio have the smallest goal difference of the top three.

What to Watch Next

Four points separate second place (Lazio, 16) from sixth (Milan, 12).

The things worth tracking: whether Inter or Lazio breaks the 16-point tie first, whether Roma convert their goal difference into points, and whether anyone climbs out of the five-way tie on 4 points.
