When a game is that close, you always take the plus 1.5 runs. San Diego covers 56 percent of the time on the road. Cleveland covers less than half their games at home. The value is clearly with the visitors who have all the momentum and the superior bats.

Bettors love Cleveland's pitching staff and their top ten defensive ranking. They are overlooking the fact that the Guardians cannot score runs and are playing with tired legs. The public is backing the home name, but the Padres are the better bet.
