CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY ACT (CCPA) DISCLOSURE

This document provides California residents with information required by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and supplements our Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this disclosure and our Privacy Policy, this disclosure controls for California residents.

1. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

Under the CCPA, "personal information" means information that identifies, relates to, or could be reasonably linked with a particular consumer or household. In the past 12 months, StatSniper has collected the following categories of personal information:

Identifiers

  • Name, email address, phone number, postal address
  • Username or account ID
  • IP address and device identifiers (UDID, MAC address)
  • Government-issued ID numbers (driver's license, passport) - if submitted for age verification

Commercial Information

  • Account registration date and status
  • Marketplace transaction history (picks purchased, sellers engaged with)
  • Subscription or premium feature purchases
  • Purchase amounts and payment methods used

Biometric Information

  • Photo ID images (if provided for age verification) - used for identity verification only

Internet Activity

  • Pages visited, features accessed, content viewed on StatSniper
  • Search queries and picks analyzed
  • Time spent on platform and interaction patterns
  • Clicks, scrolling, form submissions, and user engagement
  • Browsing history from referral sources and websites visited after leaving StatSniper

Geolocation Data

  • Approximate location (city/state) inferred from IP address
  • Precise geolocation (if you grant permission through device settings)

Sensory Information

  • Profile pictures or other photos you voluntarily upload

Professional Information

  • Information about your betting interests, sports preferences, and betting behavior

Education Information

  • Information about your knowledge level and experience with sports betting (if provided)

Inferences

  • Profiles or segments about your preferences, characteristics, and behavior
  • Predictions about your interests in specific sports, leagues, or bet types
  • Risk assessments (e.g., fraud risk, problem gambling indicators)

Data from Third-Party Integrations

  • Betting history from connected DraftKings/FanDuel accounts
  • Account balance and open wager information
  • Your sportsbook username and account ID

2. SOURCES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

StatSniper collects personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you: when you register, create a profile, complete age verification, use marketplace features, contact support, or submit feedback
  • Automatically from your device: through cookies, pixels, local storage, and tracking technologies
  • From third-party providers: age verification vendors, fraud detection services, analytics providers (Google Analytics), advertising partners, sports data providers
  • From sportsbook integrations: DraftKings and FanDuel APIs (when you authorize connection)
  • From other users: if they refer you, contact us about you, or interact with you on the platform

3. PURPOSES FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

StatSniper collects and uses personal information for the following purposes:

Business or Commercial Purposes

  • To provide and improve our services (analyze betting data, provide statistics, personalize recommendations)
  • To operate our platform (create/manage accounts, process transactions, provide customer support)
  • For marketing and advertising (send promotional emails, personalize ads, conduct market research)
  • To understand user behavior (analytics, usage patterns, feature adoption)
  • For security and fraud prevention (verify identity, detect fraud, prevent abuse, protect accounts)
  • For legal compliance (comply with laws, respond to government requests, enforce agreements)
  • For research and development (test features, improve algorithms, conduct user studies)

Purposes Specific to Sports Betting Platforms

  • Age and identity verification (confirm you meet 21+ requirement for sports betting access)
  • Self-exclusion enforcement (process and monitor self-exclusion requests)
  • Responsible gambling monitoring (identify problem gambling indicators, provide resources)

4. CATEGORIES OF THIRD PARTIES WITH WHOM WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION

In the past 12 months, StatSniper has disclosed personal information to the following categories of third parties:

  • Service Providers: cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, email services, payment processors, customer support platforms, fraud detection vendors, age verification services
  • Sportsbook Partners: DraftKings, FanDuel (OAuth tokens and limited account data for integration)
  • Marketplace Users: if you buy/sell picks, we share username and communication history with the other party
  • Advertising Partners: network advertisers, ad exchanges, social media platforms (for targeted advertising)
  • Analytics Providers: Google Analytics and other analytics services
  • Government Agencies and Law Enforcement: in response to legal process, subpoenas, or government requests
  • Business Acquirers: if we are acquired or merge, information may transfer to the successor

5. CCPA CONSUMER RIGHTS

California residents have the following rights regarding their personal information:

Right to Know

You have the right to request that we disclose: the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you; the categories of personal information collected; the sources of that information; the business purposes for collection; and the categories of third parties with whom we share it. You can make this request by emailing [email protected].

Right to Delete

You have the right to request deletion of personal information we have collected from you. However, there are exceptions: we may retain information needed to complete transactions, comply with legal obligations (tax records for 7 years), detect and prevent fraud, or as necessary for our internal purposes. Right to Opt-Out of Sales and Sharing

You have the right to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information or the "sharing" of your personal information for purposes of targeted advertising (as defined under CCPA). StatSniper may share personal information with third parties for targeted advertising purposes. To opt out you can email [email protected]. Note: You must submit this request for each browser and device you use. If you clear your cookies, you may need to resubmit.

Right to Correct

You have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you. You can update much of your information directly in your account settings, or submit a correction request to [email protected].

Right to Limit Use and Disclosure

You have the right to request that we limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the services you request. To make this request, email [email protected].

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive a copy of the personal information we have collected about you in a portable and readily useable format. Submit a data portability request to [email protected].

Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights by denying services, charging different prices, or providing different quality of service. However, we may offer financial incentives or different pricing for data collection and use, and you may see different content/offers based on your data choices.

6. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

Submitting a Request

To exercise any of your CCPA rights, you can:

Verification

We will verify your identity before responding to your request. Depending on the sensitivity of the information and type of request, we may ask you to verify your name, email address, and other information. If we cannot verify your identity, we may deny your request.

Authorized Agents

You can authorize an agent to submit requests on your behalf. Your agent must provide signed written permission or a power of attorney. We will verify your identity before processing the agent's request.

Timeline

We will respond to your CCPA request within 45 days of receipt (or as required by law). If we need more time, we will notify you and explain the reason for the delay. For complex requests, we may extend the deadline by 45 additional days.

7. "SALE" AND "SHARING" UNDER CCPA

Under CCPA, "sale" means selling, renting, releasing, or sharing personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" means disclosing personal information to third parties for purposes of targeted advertising.

StatSniper may share personal information with advertising partners and third-party providers for targeted advertising purposes and to provide offers we believe may be valuable to you. Under CCPA, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing." To opt out, visit https://statsniper.com/ccpa-opt-out or email [email protected]. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

8. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION

StatSniper collects the following categories of sensitive personal information (as defined by CCPA): Social Security Number or other government ID numbers (if provided for age verification); financial account information (payment methods); geolocation data (approximate and precise); and information related to mental health or gambling behavior (for responsible gambling purposes). We limit use of sensitive personal information to purposes necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You can request we limit use by emailing [email protected].

9. MINORS' PRIVACY

StatSniper is restricted to users 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers under 21. We do not sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without legally-required affirmative authorization. If you are aware of a minor using StatSniper, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

10. DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" feature. Currently, StatSniper does not respond to Do Not Track signals. However, if you enable DNT in your browser, we will honor your preference and disable targeted advertising and personalization for your account when feasible.

12. APPEAL PROCESS

If we deny your CCPA request, we will explain the reason and provide instructions for how to appeal. You may appeal by submitting a written request to [email protected] within 45 days of our denial. We will review your appeal and respond within 45 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the California Attorney General or the California Privacy Protection Agency.
