PRIVACY POLICY

Stat Sniper, IncEffective July 9, 2026

StatSniper ("we," "us," or "our") operates the StatSniper mobile and web application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using StatSniper, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address (or third-party sign-in credentials via Google or Apple)
  • Display name
  • Profile photo (if provided via sign-in provider)
  • Username (auto-generated, editable)

1.2 Onboarding Information

During onboarding, we collect:

  • Gender
  • Birth year
  • Sports league preferences (e.g., NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB)

1.3 Profile Information

You may optionally provide:

  • Bio/description
  • Profile avatar image
  • Background image

1.4 Location Information

During onboarding, we derive approximate location from your IP address:

  • Country and country code
  • State/region
  • City
  • Approximate coordinates (latitude/longitude)
  • Timezone

We do not continuously track your location. This is a one-time derivation at onboarding. Your IP address is processed locally using a geolocation database and is not transmitted to an external geolocation service.

1.5 Payment & Financial Information (Influencers Only)

If you apply to become an influencer, we collect additional information required for payment processing:

  • Full legal name
  • Date of birth
  • Mailing address
  • Phone number
  • Social Security Number (SSN) (for US tax compliance)

This data is collected via Stripe's embedded onboarding components and is transmitted directly to Stripe over TLS-encrypted connections. Your SSN and financial identity data do not pass through or persist on StatSniper's servers at any point during collection or processing. StatSniper does not store, log, or cache this information in our primary database or application logs.

1.6 Device & Technical Information

We automatically collect:

  • Device name (associated with push notification tokens)
  • Push notification tokens (for delivering notifications to your device)
  • App version
  • Crash and performance data

1.7 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our web application (statsniper.com) may use the following tracking technologies:

  • Session cookies to maintain your authenticated state
  • Analytics cookies to understand usage patterns and improve the App (see Section 4.6)
  • Local storage for caching user preferences and session data

Our mobile application does not use browser cookies but may use equivalent on-device storage for session management and caching.

You can control cookie behavior through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the web application.

2. Information Generated Through Your Use of the App

2.1 Social Content

When you use the social features, we store:

  • Posts you create (text content, sport tags, extracted entities)
  • Comments and replies you write
  • Likes, reposts, and bookmarks
  • Direct messages, group messages, and game chat messages

Important: Messages are stored as plaintext and are not end-to-end encrypted. While messages are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (server-side encryption), StatSniper has the technical ability to access message content for purposes including content moderation, legal compliance, and service operation. Do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial account numbers, etc.) through the messaging features.

2.2 AI Advisor (Chad) Conversations

When you use the AI betting advisor ("Chad"), we store:

  • Your messages and the AI's responses in full
  • Conversation metadata (title, preview, timestamps, message count)
  • File attachments you upload during conversations (file name, type, size)
  • Context about what you are discussing (teams, players, sports referenced)

Your messages, along with publicly available sports data (game schedules, scores, player statistics, odds, injury reports), are sent to third-party AI providers to generate responses. Your personal identity information (email, location, payment info) is not included in AI requests.

2.3 AI Interest Profile

Based on your interactions with the AI advisor, we build a profile of your interests to personalize responses:

  • Teams you ask about (with frequency and sentiment)
  • Players you ask about (with frequency)
  • Sports preferences (based on mention counts)
  • Bet type preferences (spread, over/under, moneyline, prop, parlay)
  • Derived preferences (favorite team, favorite sport, preferred bet type)

2.4 AI Prediction Tracking

When the AI advisor provides betting predictions, we store:

  • The prediction details (sport, player/team, prop type, line, direction, confidence)
  • The original question and response
  • The actual result (after the game concludes)
  • Whether the prediction was correct

This is used to measure and display AI accuracy metrics.

2.5 Player Prop Tracking

When you track player props, we store:

  • Games you are tracking (teams, league, date, game status)
  • Props you set (player name, prop type, your selected line and direction)
  • Prop outcomes (won, lost, push — evaluated automatically after games end)
  • Your prop performance statistics (total props, wins, losses, by league)
  • Aggregated platform-wide prop statistics tied to your user ID (total props, wins, losses, profit, ROI)

2.6 Content Preference Data

To power personalized content recommendations, we generate:

  • An interest vector based on your interactions (likes, reposts, bookmarks, league selections)
  • Content similarity embeddings for posts you create (used for content discovery)

2.7 Analytics Events

We track in-app events for product improvement:

  • Authentication events (sign-up method, login method, success/failure)
  • Navigation events (tab changes, screen views)
  • Content interaction events (post views, likes, bookmarks, shares, comments)
  • Search events (search terms — sanitized, result clicks)
  • Chat events (chat creation, message sent — metadata only, not message content)
  • Prop tracking events (prop added, removed, outcome changes)
  • Payment events (checkout started/completed, subscription created/cancelled)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Account management — Email, display name, username
  • AI betting advice — Your messages, conversation history, sports data
  • Personalized AI responses — AI interest profile, conversation history
  • AI accuracy tracking — Prediction details, game outcomes

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following service providers. Each provider processes data solely for the purposes described and is bound by their respective data processing terms.

4.1 AI Providers

Your AI advisor messages and publicly available sports data are processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. These providers process your message content and conversation history but do not receive your personal identity information (email, location, payment details).

4.2 Payment Processor — Stripe

Subscription and purchase transactions are handled by Stripe, Inc. Stripe receives your email and payment method details. For influencers, Stripe also receives identity verification information (name, DOB, address, SSN) as required by law. Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

4.3 Cloud Infrastructure

Our App runs on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure provided by a major cloud platform provider. User data is stored and processed within secured, access-controlled environments subject to the provider's data processing terms.

4.4 Search Provider

Post content and player names are indexed in a in-house search service to power in-app search functionality.

4.5 Email Service

If you submit a support request, your message and user ID are sent to an email delivery service for routing to our support team.

4.6 Analytics & Crash Reporting

We use analytics and crash reporting services to understand app usage and improve stability. These services receive anonymized event data and crash logs and are governed by their respective data processing terms.

4.7 Sports Data APIs

We fetch publicly available sports data (schedules, scores, player statistics, odds) from third-party sports data providers. No user data is sent to these providers.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption in transit via TLS for all data transmitted between your device and our servers
  • Encryption at rest for data stored in our cloud infrastructure
  • Access controls limiting employee and contractor access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Secure credential handling with SSN and financial identity data processed exclusively through Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure, never touching StatSniper servers

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

  • Account data — Until account deletion
  • Posts, comments — Until deleted by user or account deletion
  • Chat messages — Until deleted by user or account deletion
  • AI conversations — Until deleted by user or account deletion
  • AI interest profile — Until account deletion
  • AI predictions — Retained for accuracy tracking; deleted on account deletion
  • Prop tracking data — Until deleted by user or account deletion
  • Analytics events — Retained per our analytics provider's default retention policy
  • Influencer financial data — Retained by Stripe per their data retention policy and legal requirements
  • Location data — Until account deletion

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account through the App settings. When you delete your account:

  • Your profile, posts, comments, and messages are permanently deleted
  • Your AI conversations and interest profile are permanently deleted
  • Your prop tracking data and history are permanently deleted
  • Your analytics data is disassociated from your identity
  • Financial records maintained by Stripe may be retained per their policies and applicable law
  • Backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being permanently purged from our backup systems

Account deletion is irreversible. We recommend exporting any data you wish to retain before initiating deletion.

8. Children's Privacy

StatSniper is not intended for users under the age of 18. We collect birth year during onboarding and reject account creation for users who indicate they are under 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has created an account (whether through inaccurate self-reporting or otherwise), we will promptly suspend the account and permanently delete all associated data, including profile information, posts, messages, AI conversations, and prop tracking history.

If you believe a user under 18 has created an account, please contact us at support@statsniper.com.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access — Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your data (see Section 7)
  • Portability — Request your data in a portable format
  • Objection — Object to certain processing of your data
  • Restriction — Request restriction of processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@statsniper.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days.

International Users (EEA, UK & Switzerland). If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, additional rights and disclosures apply to you under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please review our GDPR Privacy Notice, which supplements and forms part of this Privacy Policy.

10. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the preceding 12 months
  • Right to Delete — You may request deletion of your personal information
  • Right to Correct — You may request correction of inaccurate personal information

Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising through advertising pixels on our website; where you enter an email address into a form on our site, a cryptographically hashed version of that address may be transmitted to an advertising partner. You may opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We will not discriminate against you for opting out.

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We use sensitive personal information (such as SSN for influencers) only for the purposes disclosed in this policy
  • Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights

To submit a request, contact us at support@statsniper.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

11. Other State Privacy Laws

Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have similar rights to those described in Section 9, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal data for monetary consideration. We do share personal information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. To exercise any applicable rights, contact us at support@statsniper.com.

12. Opt-Out Preference Signals (Global Privacy Control)

Stat Sniper honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal. If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information for that browser, and we apply it automatically — no account and no further action is required. If you have previously opted in through Your Privacy Choices, that later and more specific choice takes precedence until you opt out again. Separately, some browsers transmit a legacy "Do Not Track" (DNT) header. Because no industry-standard protocol for DNT was ever agreed, we do not respond to DNT signals; GPC, not DNT, is the signal we act on.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Clark County, Nevada, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated policy within the App
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Sending a push notification or email for significant changes

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with any changes, you may delete your account as described in Section 7.

15. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, contact us at:
