American football at night under stadium lights

The AFC West odds 2026 board has the Chiefs at -205 and the Broncos at +170, with the Raiders at +2700 and the Chargers at +15000, per the division-winner feed ESPN carries. Kansas City, 5-1, took its first loss of the season on Sunday night, 20-3 at Seattle, and now visits 5-2 Denver on Sunday afternoon.

AFC West Odds 2026: The Full Board

We pulled the prices from ESPN's futures feed around 12:00 UTC on Monday, Oct. 26, after the Seattle game had finished. The feed carries no timestamp and does not name a sportsbook, so we cannot say whether Kansas City's price already reflects the loss. Treat the numbers as a snapshot and check a live book before acting on them.

Kansas City Chiefs: -205, 5-1 overall, 3-0 in the division

Denver Broncos: +170, 5-2 overall, 1-1 in the division

Las Vegas Raiders: +2700, 3-4 overall, 1-1 in the division

Los Angeles Chargers: +15000, 0-6 overall, 0-3 in the division

Converted to implied probability, -205 is about 67 percent and +170 is about 37 percent. Add the Raiders at about 3.6 percent and the Chargers at about 0.7 percent and the four prices total roughly 108 percent. Kansas City has one fewer loss than Denver.

How the Seattle Loss Happened

Per ESPN, the Chiefs' offense never reached the red zone and got no closer than the Seattle 27-yard line. Kicker Harrison Butker missed his second field goal. Patrick Mahomes was pressured on eight of his 15 dropbacks before halftime, and Kansas City managed only 37 first-half passing yards.

The Chiefs were also without tackles Josh Simmons and Jaylon Moore. Rashee Rice missed the game with a strained right hamstring, and Tyquan Thornton is on injured reserve after surgery to repair a dislocated left ankle. The Chiefs' wideouts caught six passes for 39 yards between them. ESPN's Nate Taylor wrote that general manager Brett Veach should remain interested in adding a receiver before the Nov. 10 trade deadline.

The game script was one-sided by the middle of the third quarter. Seattle had run 51 plays to Kansas City's 24 and possessed the ball twice as much, per ESPN. The Chiefs' defense could not get off the field, and longtime coordinator Steve Spagnuolo's blitzes did not stop Sam Darnold from finding the easy throw, which was most often to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who finished with 150 receiving yards. The Chiefs' best chance to score a touchdown came on defense: cornerback Nohl Williams intercepted Darnold in the end zone and returned it 65 yards.

Running back Kenneth Walker III, who played his former team, entered the night leading the league with 665 rushing yards and was held to 36 yards on 14 carries. Seattle also converted 11 of 16 third downs against Kansas City. The Seahawks (4-3) snapped a two-game losing streak, and ESPN notes their defense has now gone 36 consecutive games without allowing a 100-yard rusher, the longest such streak in the NFL. Walker, who had rushed for at least 117 yards in four of Kansas City's first five games, never had a carry of 10 or more yards. Seattle allowed only 213 yards overall, and Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 867 receiving yards and eight receiving touchdowns.

Denver Is the Real Alternative

The Broncos are 5-2 after a 30-16 win over Arizona on Sunday, and they are 1-1 in the division. A Broncos win on Sunday would make Denver 6-2 and Kansas City 5-2, with Denver 2-1 in the division and Kansas City 3-1.

That is arithmetic from the standings, not a forecast. A Chiefs win would put them at 6-1 against Denver's 5-3.

What Sunday Changes in the Standings

The outcomes are short. If Kansas City wins in Denver, it is 6-1 against Denver's 5-3 and 4-0 in the division. If Denver wins, the Broncos are 6-2 against Kansas City's 5-2, and the division records read 2-1 for Denver and 3-1 for Kansas City. The Raiders (3-4) and Chargers (0-6) trail both teams today.

Those are standings facts, not predictions. They show why this board is a two-team price with a long tail.

The Raiders and Chargers

Las Vegas fell to 3-4 with a 35-21 loss to the Rams on Sunday. The Raiders are 1-1 in the division, and +2700 prices them as roughly a 3.6 percent shot.

The Chargers were on a bye in Week 7 at 0-6, 0-3 against the division, and +15000.
