The model is very high on the over here. The line is set at 8 but our projection sits at 8.9. That is a massive 11.5 percent edge. Even though the Yankees have a top five defense, the Red Sox usually find a way to scrap for a few runs in this rivalry. Boston covers the spread 50 percent of the time on the road. But the Yankees are just too efficient at home. They allow only 3.3 runs per game. If New York stays on track with their season average, they will do most of the heavy lifting for this total themselves. Lean toward the Yankees minus 1.5 but definitely hammer the over. This is the highest confidence play on the board today.
