Injuries
- Tyrese HaliburtonAlthough Indiana's season is nearly over and it's been known since July that Haliburton would not suit up, this marks an important step in the star point guard's rehab. The 26-year-old suffered a torn right Achilles tendon in last year's Game 7 loss to the Thunder in the NBA Finals, and he'll hope to get back on the floor by Opening Night of the 2026-27 campaign.Out
- Johnny FurphyFurphy started in 21 of 35 regular-season appearances for the Pacers, posting averages of 5.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.7 three-pointers in 18.4 minutes per contest. While no timetable has been announced, Furphy's absence could extend through the beginning of the 2026-27 season. With this news, the Pacers will likely lean more on Ben Sheppard, Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson moving forward.Out
- Ivica ZubacThis is a major blow to Indiana's frontcourt. Based on the timetable for healing, the Pacers didn't feel like Zubac would be 100 percent in time for the remaining games, and with nothing to play for, they have no incentive to rush him back.Out
- Aaron NesmithEthan Thompson should get another start Sunday with Nesmith unavailable. Kam Jones and Taelon Peters should also see some extended minutes sans Nesmith.Out
- T.J. McConnellThis will be McConnell's seventh straight game on the sidelines. He'll end his age-33 season with averages of 9.4 points, 5.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game.Out
- Andrew NembhardNembhard will miss Indiana's season finale, marking a seventh straight absence to end the campaign. The 26-year-old guard took a significant step forward in Tyrese Haliburton's (Achilles) absence this season, and Nembhard will finish the campaign averaging 16.9 points, 7.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 0.9 steals across 31.3 minutes per showing in 57 regular-season outings.Out
- Pascal SiakamSiakam will miss his fifth consecutive game Sunday, and it'll be Micah Potter, Obi Toppin and Jalen Slawson helping pick up the slack in his absence. Siakam made it through 62 games in his age-31 season, posting averages of 24.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.7 triples and 1.1 steals per contest.Out
- Ben SheppardSheppard missed the Pacers' last four games, so his absence versus Detroit now marks the end of his season. Without him, Ethan Thompson is expected to remain in the starting lineup.Out
- Jarace WalkerWalker will miss the final game of the 2025-26 campaign. Without him on the floor, Kobe Brown or Jalen Slawson are in line to replace him in the starting lineup. There's also a chance both players will be needed to start.Out
