Injuries

  • Domantas SabonisWith the 12-44 Kings' season circling the drain, Sabonis elected to go under the knife after attempting play through the injury this season. The star big man averaged 15.8 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 29.7 minutes per tilt across a career-low 19 games this year before going down. With Dylan Cardwell (ankle) now sidelined for the foreseeable future, rookie second-rounder Maxime Raynaud has a big opportunity to seize the lion's share of the center minutes going forward.Out
  • De'Andre HunterHunter only managed to suit up for two games for Sacramento before opting to undergo a season-ending procedure on his eye, but this shouldn't be something that impacts his status for next year's training camp. Hunter will end his 2025-26 campaign with averages of 13.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 triples per game.Out
  • Zach LaVineAfter missing Sacramento's final three outings before the All-Star break due to right finger soreness, LaVine is scheduled to undergo season-ending surgery. The veteran swingman will finish the season with averages of 19.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 31.4 minutes per contest in 39 regular-season games (37 starts). He holds a $48.97 million player option for the 2026-27 campaign. With LaVine sidelined, Nique Clifford should continue to see an expanded role, while Malik Monk (illness) and Devin Carter are also candidates for increased playing time.Out
  • Keegan MurrayMurray, who was held to a career-low 23 appearances in 2025-26, suffered multiple left ankle sprains during the season, and the hope is that the surgery will aid his recovery. The 25-year-old forward could be off the court for as many as eight weeks, but the expectation is that he'll be ready to go for the start of training camp in the fall.Out
  • Drew EubanksEubanks will end his 2025-26 campaign with averages of 5.2 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. The 28-year-old big man should be healthy by training camp next season, but he'll be looking for a new contract as a free agent this summer.Out
  • Russell WestbrookWestbrook will end the 2025-26 season having missed 11 consecutive games. Though the Kings struggled this season, Westbrook had a relatively strong year. In his 64 appearances, the veteran averaged 15.2 points, 6.7 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 29.0 minutes.Out
  • Isaiah StevensOne of Sacramento's two-way players, Stevens will finish out the season having not seen action at the NBA or G League level since March 21 due to a sore right ankle. The second-year point guard made just three appearances in total for Sacramento in 2025-26, averaging 3.3 points, 3.3 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.0 rebounds in 14.3 minutes.Out
  • DeMar DeRozanDeRozan will end the season with a third consecutive absence due to a right hamstring injury. The veteran forward will finish the 2025-26 campaign having averaged fewer than 20 points per game for the first time since 2012-2013. He will end the season with averages of 18.4 points, 4.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 31.2 minutes per game across 77 regular-season appearances.Out
  • Malik MonkMonk will miss Sacramento's regular-season finale while attending to a personal matter. He will finish the 2025-26 campaign with averages of 12.5 points, 3.0 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 0.6 steals across 22.0 minutes per game in 62 regular-season appearances (three starts).Out
