Betting Angle: Singapore and the Title

Unibet UK's race-winner board for Singapore, published Oct. 5, had Verstappen as the favorite at 29/10 (about +290), ahead of Antonelli at 7/2 (+350), Russell at 21/4 (+525), Norris at 23/4 (+575) and Hamilton at 7/1 (+700). Unibet notes the prices were correct at the time of publishing, so they may have moved since. Implied probability on a fractional price is the second number divided by the sum of both, so 29/10 works out to about 25.6% and 7/2 to about 22.2%.

The results table explains the shape of that board. Verstappen arrives off four straight podiums capped by a win, while Antonelli has the deepest record of the season. Antonelli has been on the podium more often than anyone (13 of 16 races).

On the title, Polymarket had Antonelli at 97% to win the drivers' championship as of Oct. 5, per Covers, with Russell, Hamilton and Verstappen at 1% each. Covers listed Mercedes at 99% for the constructors' title as of Oct. 5. There is little value left in those futures; the live angles are race by race. What to Watch Next

Singapore (Oct. 9 to 11) is the first test of whether Verstappen's Round 16 win starts a run or stays a one-off. Watch Russell's result too: he is the only driver within 100 points of Antonelli, and the gap is 84 with seven rounds left.

The other storyline is third place in the constructors' standings, where 18 points separate McLaren and Red Bull Racing. After Singapore, the next stop is the United States Grand Prix on Oct. 23 to 25. Chad AI tracks every Grand Prix weekend and futures move inside the StatSniper app; ask Chad for race-by-race reads.
